DEWORM THE STRAYS
Dogs are exposed to worm infection from a variety of sources, from soil infested with parasite eggs, to contact with an infected dog’s feces, to infected fleas and mosquitoes. Intestinal parasites pose a significant threat to a dog’s health. Deworming is a procedure for puppies or adult dogs to eliminate the presence of any worms within the dog’s stomach and intestines.
Deworming a dog can help even humans.. As you know the street dogs have no place to poop they do it anywhere and everywhere...! So basically if they are not dewormed the worms multiply and these worms are so dangerous that if they come in contact with children and reach their brains it could lead to blindness..!
After the completion of the 3 successful events of Deworming the Strays, BHUMI Bengaluru's PAWS team is now extending it to all over Bengaluru. The next version of Deworm the Strays will be conducted on June 23, 2019 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm..
NOTE: We are raising funds for Bhumi that is a volunteer run organization working to educate children hailing from humble backgrounds and also take up civic initiatives. We put an extra effort to ensure that these become well rounded individuals by developing their interpersonal and communication skills. We volunteers are mentored to reach out to children living in slums, orphanages, villages and community centers. To continue doing the great job that they do, we require not only funds but your whole-hearted support. Please contribute generously and share about their cause to others in your network.
