IGNITING THE LITTLE MINDS WITH SCIENCE
At Vatsalya, we began work in 2001 with interventions focused on children. We gradually expanded our activities to other areas to address the problems of a community as a whole. Vatsalya currently runs programs related to
- healthcare & HIV/AIDS,
- vocational training for youth and
- education for children.
With limited resources and overflowing enthusiasm, we were able to accomplish a lot in very little time.
Vatsalya has undertaken projects spread over the entire state of Rajasthan.
We have a unique Children’s Village where 60 orphaned, abandoned and destitute children live under the loving care of Vatsalya’s staff. Vatsalya also has outreach programs which attend to the needs of over 800 children every month in slums. We also have significant interventions in the fields of health, HIV-AIDS and women’s empowerment.
Vatsalya, Jaipur was awarded the 5th Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award by the Department of Energy, Govt. Rajasthan in 2017, for the efforts in energy conservation.
