Owing to the economic situations in the family, negligence by parents and husbands, high influence of peer pressures, changing lifestyles many innocent girls and women are trapped into human trafficking and sex trade. After being trapped into sexual slavery, they are addicted towards various ill practices like consuming excess alcohol, addicted to drugs, behaving violently, having no hope on humanity and etc) and these behaviours usually are embroiled to their children.
The project offers a home to vulnerable girls especially, daughters of sex-trafficked victims with the life-time commitment with the consent of mothers. In CMM's home, they have a place to experience homely atmosphere, live safe, play and sleep, get healthy nutrition, quality education with after school tuition, medical and psychological care, Extracurricular Activities such as, Music, dance classes and are going to a Standard English medium school. This way they can escape from the dangerous life that their mothers lived through. Presently, CMM takes care of 44 Girls (aged between 7 & 15 years) at its Model home in-spite of having no regular support for the past 6 years in a rented building.
44 children’s lives have been holistically transformed in our shelter homes. Providing them mainstream education which had been our core aim has been successfully achieved. They have been prevented, permanently rehabilitated from the vulnerable environment of sexual slavery and saved them from the possible entry into sex-trade also ending up as Child Labors. But the number of girls who wait for a way out of the risk of forced sexual slavery is far higher. With more financial resources, the home could expand its capacity so as to save many more girls live and die in the darkness of sexual slavery.
